BioDynamics Reporting System

A choice of three different reports for Long Game. All are easy to understand and produced in full color. Client receives both a hard copy and an electronic copy of the Report.

1. The Short Report (1 page) is great for large groups or School formats.
2. The Full Report (2 pages) is comprehensive and most popular with Golfers and Teaching Professionals.
3. For Tour Professionals and their Swing Coaches a more detailed (4 page) report is available

The Full Report
Designed to provide important biomechanical information about your golf swing inan easy to understand format (2 pages). The golfer uses two different golf clubs, usually a driver and mid-iron.

Seven Tables of data:
1.
Summary points that highlight the important issues
2. Posture and alignment at address
3. Backswing dynamics - body movements, rotations and core stability indicators
4. Downswing Dynamics - body movements, rotations and core stability indicators
5. Swing Dynamics (speeds, timing/kinetic sequences, X-Factor and X-factor stretch)
6. Consistency of swing mechanics ¡V tempo and postures throughout the swing
7. Injury Risk indicators

• An ideal range or "corridor" (Jim McLean) is provided for each biomechanical parameter listed
•  Subject's results are colour coded for ease of interpretation - a colour scheme of green, amber and red is used to highlight those values that are within, close to and outside normal ranges respectively
•  Data from multiple swings (minimum of 5 per club type - 5 iron and Driver) are used to develop average values and variability measures, gaining insight into a golfer's normal swing and the extent of deviation from that swing pattern
•  Actual images of the client (using the 3D software) used to illustrate a swing anomaly/various postures throughout the swing.
•  Graphical information to present the sequencing or kinetic link and timing issues.

Biofeedback Training
The Golf Biodynamics 3D System also has a Biofeedback Training feature. This feature allows the swing coach or operator to select a range of values for a particular swing parameter. The golfer moving outside this "corridor" (as coined by Jim McLean) will trigger an audible tone ("beep") that immediately lets the golfer know that he/she has deviated from the desired movement pattern. This training option speeds up the learning of new motor patterns associated with technique change. A very valuable tool for players of all levels.

This is really the most exciting part of the whole process for the client. Being able to give the client an immediate "feel" for a particular movement pattern in the golf swing is vital to helping them make changes. The key is receiving very accurate feedback about where the golfer’s body is in space. Whether it is reducing hip turn, encouraging lateral head movement off the ball during the backswing or increasing the X-Factor Stretch this is a valuable tool for players of all levels.

The Client's Swings on CD
We can produce a take home CD, for the golf client to view animations of their own swing on a PC with the software we use. View multiple swings from any perspective, draw graphs, generate the numbers and even compare swings with one of the many tour professionals in our database.
